July Gardens Open Day

On a perfect sunny Sunday in July, eleven gardens in the Halwill area opened their gates to visitors in aid of the Winsford Trust.

A map and short description of each garden was purchased from the Winsford Centre, where refreshments were available all afternoon. There were local craft stalls under the marquee along with many plant sellers.

The gardens varied from a small patio courtyard garden to one with a large lake with an island and bridge, you could even meet the resident horses, who did their bit by accepting pats and a chat over their field gate. This was the third annual opening and raised over £600.00.

The Trustees of the Winsford Trust would like to thank all garden owners and volunteers who made this day such a great success.
