CONSERVATION STATEMENT
This Conservation Statement document was prepared in 2007 to provide a reference document for Trustees, staff and volunteers and to inform the restoration proposals for which major funding is being sought. It follows the format suggested by the Heritage Lottery Fund guidelines.
Trustees Mike Duda, Ann Reading, Jill and Brian Thomas and the Centre Manager Sandra Willets have provided generous support in the preparation of this report. Ian Sandars has helped with photography and expertise on railways. Hans Eisner has shared his knowledge of the building and the Webb-Medley's house.
The file size of the 79 page document prohibits it being displayed at maximum quality online, however, an acceptable low resolution PDF version can be viewed by clicking the link below. Depending on your computer set-up you will be able to either to view it within your browser, or to view it with the free Adobe Reader software (bundled with most computers, or simply click the link to download the latest version).
The file will be most easily viewed with a broadband connection. The file size is displayed next to the link for the file. It is not recommended on older computers with a slow broadband connection, or using a dial-up connection.
